Alumni Arena (Town of Amherst)

Alumni Arena is the world-class home for many of UB's Division I athletic events. The building was constructed in two phases beginning in 1982. The 1985 addition included a gymnastics area, activity rooms, locker rooms, and racket ball courts. Alumni Arena also includes a 6,100-seat gym for basketball, wrestling or volleyball—also the site of commencement and lectures—and a 50-meter 1.2-million-gallon Olympic-size pool.
