  • Ofically, the last one. So disguting that I won't comment. Instead, I have kind of opinion of my own about the Ripper. Although there are so many theories about his identity and motives, including those with Prince Albert, masons and so on... I think that this thing about Jack the Ripper is much simpler. He was obviously insane, which does not exclude his knife skills (not necessery doctor, he could have been a butcher). He surely lived in area and had a job. All murders were commited within a mile, he escaped from the sites quite easily, meaning he knew all those little and narrow streets, alleys and passages, and, finally, he did it in the middle of the night sometimes at weekends, when he wasnt at work. How come he wasnt caught and his identity wasnt ever discovered. East End was his ground and he was always several steps forward then police. Pure Luck!!! At the time they didnt even have a fingerprints methods. How come he stopped out of sudden? Probably died, killed or something or has been caught for some other crime, but not for these ones or he just moved from London?
  • If you want evidence that the murderer knew the area well, then the fourth murder happened in Mitre Square, which was surrounded by a workhouse and 4 empty houses. The Square Mile was so desirable there were hardly any unwanted houses, while the workhouse would have been shut for the night. This was probably the only place where a screaming would go unnoticed. He clearly knew the city well.
