Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama is the Kanpur branch of the world-wide Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Howrah. Established in 1936, the Ashrama runs a Senior Secondary High School for boys, a well-equipped medical centre, library and meditation hall. Major Hindu festivals are celebrated along with the birthday celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
