Pohang Jukdo Market started with local vendors selling their goods in a large field in Pohang's Inner Harbor area. Fifty years later the market here has become one of the largest traditional markets on the east coast with 2,500 some shops, 200 of which are raw fish outlets.

Typical products found here are fresh fish, dried fish, rice cakes, fresh and dried vegetables, clothes, furniture, fresh and dried fruits, woodcarvings, housewares, jewelry, etc. The hours are 8AM to 10PM throughout the week.
