Established in 1969, the Bridle Drift Reservoir was created by the construction of the Bridle Drift Dam on Buffalo River. It's located about 16 km (10 mi) northwest of the city of East London, South Africa. The reservoir has a total water storage capacity of 101.6 million m³ (3.59 billion ft³).
