In this area on 16 September 1975 is missing Polish sailing yacht s/y "Janosik". On board were seven persons - kapitan Bogdan Polakiewicz, Krzysztof Fuks, Ryszard Wolnara, Włodzimierz Pstrągowski, Małgorzata Modzelewska, Ewa Wiercińska, Alfred Leśniak. Wreck of the boat and the bodies of the crew were never found.
