Ramapuram is a town in the Kottayam district of the Indian state of Kerala. The place supposedly got its name due to a Sri Rama Temple situated on the western end. Other important places include St. Augustian’s Church, High School, and College. 2 high schools and numerous other educational institutions can be found around the village. The place is home for renowned writers like Lalithambika Antharjanam, Ramapurathu Warrior and Paremmakkal Govarnador. Now Ramapuram is becoming a pilgrimage center due to the Tomb of Blessed Kunjachan It is a calm ,beautiful and greenery village.

  • RAMAPURAM is also pilgrim center as the tomb of Blessed Kunjachan beatified on 30/04/2006, at the very same village RAMAPURAM where he was born, worked, died and buried. The Feast of Blessed KUJACHAN is celebrated on 16th October every year.
