Swedbank Stadion is a football stadium in Malmö, Sweden. It is the home of Malmö FF, a football team competing in Allsvenskan. Swedbank owns the naming rights to the stadium. Due to sponsorship reasons, the stadium is referred to as Malmö New Stadium in UEFA competitions. The stadium has a capacity of 24,000 (of which 18,000 are seated and 6,000 standing) in league matches. In international matches, the stadium's all-seater capacity is 21,000. It also has 54 luxury boxes, 2,000 club seats, and "Restaurang 1910" in the inside area. The stadium has a height of 27 m (88 ft), a width of 150 m (492 ft), and a length of 215 m (705 ft). The stadium was constructed from April 2007 to April 2009, costing 695,000,000 SEK to build, and replaced Malmö Stadion, located to its north. It was designed by FOJAB arkitektor and Berg Arkitektkontor. Swedbank Stadion hosted the final of the 2009 UEFA U-21 Football Championship.
