Sokhord (Armenian: Սոխորդ) or Serinbayir (Turkish: Serinbayır) also Soghurt (Turkish: Soğurt) is a village at northeastern sloap of mt. Nemrut, Armenian Highland. Birthplace of Serop Pasha (Aghpyur Serop) prominent Armenian self-defence leader and hero. Up to 1915-23 Armenian village at the district known as Bznunik district of Turuberan province of Historic Armenia. After destruction of Armenian population was renamed firstly Soğurt, then Serinbayir. Now Kurdish populated village in the middle of Bitlis (Baghesh) province of Turkey.
