One of the oldest hospitals still providing good service. Set up in 1894 by the British, it is running strong today. A 300 bed setup, two fulltime Gen. Surgeons, two MD physicians, two Obstetrician-Gynaecologists, one Dch pediatrician, one DA anaesthetist, a handful of MBBS doctors fulfilling their bond obligation from CMC Ludhiana and CMC Vellore and a fully functional Nursing College providing General Nursing and ANM courses. Besides there are also laboratory courses available, recognised by the Punjab Government. Dr. Richard David is the Medical Superintendent, Dr. David Masih is the Senior Physician and Dr. R.D. Singh is the Senior Surgeon. The hospital functions under the aegis of the CNI, Diocese of Chandigarh, with Rev. Joel Mall as the Bishop.

  • My father got operated for ruptured aboebic liver abscess in year 1984 at the peak of terrorism in this hospital.I still remember the dexterity and competence with which he was attended to after we shifted him from railway hospital.God bless the team of doctors who attended him.I hope they still carry on with those practices and traditions.
