    This is the place from where lot of peoples are fighted for belgaum should be in maharashtra. 12 peoples had dead that time in police fighring.

    I am agree with Gajanan Patil.I born and brought up in Belgundi itself. It was really sad day for all the villagers. Moreover, still people are expecting Belgaum should be part of Maharastra.

    I read all above comments from Amit Pauskar and Gajanan Patil I strongly believe what they have said in their comments. I feel that Belgundi, Sonoli, Rakaskop, Bijgarni, Belvatti, Badas, Boknun and Baknur, etc. all west side area should go to the Maharastra state, as i know that there are no Kannada speaker and people living in this area.
