Playa La Barca (Km.31.5)
Excellent sand beach cove with reefs and tide pools to the north and south ends. Friendly local families frequent the beach here on weekends, as a tradition for many generations.
The land area is the former location of La Barca Trailer Park, 90% of which was torn down in January 2006 to make way for possible larger development after the passing of the eldest original land owner. The areas landmark residence built by hand with brick by one of the sons on the north end of the property, known as "La Barca Castle" or "La Barca Lighthouse" remains intact along with a few other family houses as of 2007
