Estate residence designed c. 1920 in the Cotswold style by Harrie T. Lindeberg for Jackson A. Dykman {attorney, financier, capitalist}. Dykman served as a partner in the Cullen & Dykman law firm, director of Brooklyn Trust Co., American Surety Company of New York, Brooklyn-Queens Transit Corp., International Elevating Corp., and Brooklyn Bus Corp. His father, William Nelson Dykman, lived nearby at "White Acre". The superintendent's residence still exists next door as separate residence.
