This building is shared by OISE in the west end and the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) in the east end, with the majority being UTS. UTS is one of the most academically prestigious schools in Canada, if not the most prestigious. It has about 600 students, from grades 7-12, with approximately 100 per grade. It accepts equal numbers of boys and girls. Entrance is granted solely in Grade 7 with future spots opening up only when a current student leaves the school. Entrance is based solely on academic quality, and scholarships are available. Website at www.uts.utoronto.ca.

UTS is also affiliated with OISE/UT. Summer courses for teachers are held in the classrooms of this beautiful old building.
