HMS Dalriada (Greenock)

First commissioned in 1965, HMS Dalriada has been a part of the Greenock community since 1982 when it was relocated from nearby Inverkip. The unit recruits and trains people from Greenock, Gourock, Inverclyde, Paisley, Glasgow and the rest of the west coast of Scotland. Members of HMS Dalriada maintain close links with their colleagues in Govan Division by regularly training together.

The HM Naval Base Clyde at nearby Faslane gives our Reservists an unrivalled opportunity to see the work of the Royal Navy. We also make use of the training facilities at the Royal Marines Reserve Scotland Headquarters in Govan, which houses HMS Dalriada’s satellite unit – Govan Division.
