225th. (Scottish) Medical Support Regiment (V) 225 Medical Regiment is Scotland's oldest surviving medical unit with a proud history that goes back to 1739. 225 have been at every major battle since 1908 and has personnel currently on operations in many locations around the world. The Regimental Headquarters is based in Dundee while the medical squadrons are situated between Dundee and Leicester.

The role of 225 (Scottish) Medical Regiment (Volunteers) is to fully train and provide people to support the regular army both at home and abroad on military operations. This can be as part of a designated unit or as individuals working alongside other elements of the wider British army.
