This is a small french village in the Normandy region. Just outside of town is the WWII Canadian War Memorial cemetery where over 2,000 Canadian soldiers are buried. Most of these soldiers lost their lives on D-day when Canadian soldiers came ashore at Juno Beach as part of the allied invasion.
