Mine was launched in 1957. In 1981 it became a part of the mine administration named after the newspaper Socialist Donbass. Closed down in late 1980s. Now its premises belong to tobacco company Hamad, as well as warehouses and offices of some other companies, including private enterprise Remelektromash and Donles.
