STC Reactivelectron governed by National academy of sciences of Ukraine was founded in 1959 as subdivision of Pure Electrones Institute (PEI). Now PEI is based in Moscow and called Scientifically - research institute of chemical reagents and specifically pure chemical substances (IREA).

In 1959 Donetsk subdivision of IREA was reorganized into STC Reactivelektron.

Units of STC Reactivelectron are as follows: scientific research units, project units, experimental factory.

Units execute complex of Scientific research on creation and designing of new materials and technologies including industrial tests (trials).
