Anglican parish church of Saint Mary dates back to 12th Century, when the chapel was built in 1155 by The Monks of Bec. The chancel of the present church was built in 1357 as original church of the Augustian Friary. The church has also 12th Century Baddesley porch from old Baddesley church, demolished in 1842.
Part of Atherstone Benefice, Diocese of Coventry.
This church is grade II* listed building.
