Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charity foundation for social services built the mosque in Egypt, Cairo, in an area called the New Cairo ( fifth assembly)
The mosque was built on an area of around 18 000 m2, the area of the built-up is 5700 m2. It can take more than 5000 worshippers. The mosque is surrounded by number of arenas that can be used on formal Eids prayers. These arenas can take more than 3000 worshippers
One of the Egyptian companies specialized in lighting designed the chandelier of the mosque that is considered the largest in the world , with a weight of 3 tons, height 17.7 m, and diameter of 17.6.
The chandelier has an Islamic style. It consists of seven stories as a symbol of the seven skies. The verse from the Holy Koran "Throne of thy Lord above them that day eight" is written on its forefront.
The chandelier execution period took more than nine months.
