This is the Twin Lights Lighthouse in Highlands, NJ. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in the USA. Really good views of the shoreline. Open during daylight hours, it is FREE admission. Best-kept secret in NJ for a really wonderful spot to stop with your family or significant other. Turn off Rt 36 if your going toward the beach right before the bridge. A short but steep hill takes you there. Old Dutch cannon on the front lawn is interesting. 20 foot high lens on display along with a small, rustic museum. A MUST SEE for visitors to the state!
