Fatnas Island

 peninsula, interesting place
Sometimes called Fantasy Island, it's actually a peninsula which juts into the Salt Lake. As you can see, the berm which was constructed to protect the land from rising lake levels, has now left Fatnas sometimes surrounded by mud flats. Nonetheless it boasts one of the cleanest freshwater springs in the oasis and is very popular with tourists.
