Green Hill, also known as "The Garbage Hill" or "Makeout Hill", was formerly a landfill, but has been covered with dirt and grass.
It is one of the few hills of it's size in Winnipeg.
In the winter time there is a snow sledding portion on the northern portion of the hill.
It is also an off-leash area for dogs.
It is a popular place for joggers and cyclists.
