Friends Arena is a multipurpose football stadium with a retractable roof in Solna Municipality near Stockholm, Sweden. Its main tenants are Sweden's national football team and the football club AIK.
The arena was constructed from December 2009 until October 2012 at a cost of 2,800,000,000 SEK (€300,000,000). It is named after a non-profit organisation supported by Swedbank. It has a seating capacity of 51,060 with 92 luxury boxes.
Among the events hosted at the Friends Arena is the 2013 UEFA Women's Championship.
