In 1902 the Friederic Czell & Sons Alcohol and Liquor Factory opened on Lemnelor Street, on the site of the older Wilhelm Göllner liqueur factory founded in 1878.
After nationalization it will be transformed into the Uzinele Metalurgica (Metalurgica Plants).
Present day remaining buildings were erected in 1910.
