Sarjaa is a venture of the Lata Mangeshakar’s family. It was inaugurated on 11 June 1996 by Hema Malini. The restaurant is currently managed by Ganesh and Ranjit Shetty. Sarjaa has a very decorative ambience. It accommodates 106 people simultaneously and serves a sumptuous spread of Indian and Chinese cuisines.
Food - There is a wide variety to choose from Indian and Chinese Cuisine. Both the cuisines tastes good and gets wide acceptance from most of the customers.
Dessert - Most of the indian restaturant rely largely on ice-creams and sundaes. The fact is that after Indian food most people linger for an Indian sweet. There are very restaurants that offer the likes of Payasam (Kheer), Halwa, Indian sweets, Gulab Jamun etc. Sarjaa is no exception, although instead they have ventured into the Chinese dessert.
Ambience - Sarjaa provides a rich decorative ambience indoors. At outdoors it has small garden surrounded by shrubs.
Price - It may not cost you a fortune but is not inexpensive. It is priced suitably as compared to the other restaurants with similar ambience and offerings.
Parking - Sarjaa has a large road side parking area across the road for four-wheelers. It also has a nice two wheeler parking just outside the gate. During wee hours it may get difficult to park inspite of having a fair number of slots. The four-wheeler parking are also taken away by people visiting nearby shopping malls.
Service - Service at Sarjaa is good but not the best. It does not leave you with a bitter feeling but at the same time it does not gives an awe feeling.
Business Lunch - The ambience at Sarjaa allows to have business luncheons and meetings.
Children - Sarjaa has a nice ambience and some outdoor seating too. There is enough play area for kids outside but may get a bit congested during wee hours. However, it does not provide children with an exclusive play area or toys.
Nappy Change - There are no nappy change facilities at Sarjaa. Unfortunately, you would have to rely on your car or borrow the nearby chair or sofa. The toilets does not have any alternate facilities either.
Baby Feeding - Not quite! If you have a breast fed infant you may have to rely on other means.
Toilets - They have it and you can use in case of emergency else it is recommended to avoid it.
