RANIA (Hindi:रानिया) is a town and a tehsil of Sirsa district of Haryana, India. It is a grain market town. It is situated on State Highway 32 (Sirsa-JeewanNagar-Dabwali Road) about 23 km from Sirsa city. Other nearby cities are Ellenabad (22 km), Mandi Dabwali (55 km) and Mandi Kalanwali (40 km). Punjab and Rajasthan borders are 35km and 25 km respectively from Rania. Rania Town's population is about 40,000.

  • Rania, as rigthly said, is infact the biggest grain market in Sirsa. Rania is a small town (has township, under municipality). It has 2 major big school run by state govt are upto 12th class. Main business of locals is agriculture. Has almost 350 shops in main market and arround 600 shops in total locality. Rania is a Tehsil. Main religions here are Hindu and Sikh. Punjabi is most spoken language. Sports wise : had a batch of good cricket players but now is missing. Kabbadi (both National and Free Style) is a famous very famous. Some times Wrestling also takes place and does happen in a very big way. Average bussy hours of locals are almost 4-5 hours a day. Most happening place is Shahid Bhagat Singh Chowk.
  • rania is actually a urbAN VILLAGE. it is really a very good place. it has good market. there are mainly two big pvt schools: DAV school and V.N High school. B.S public school is vry fast growing scool. i M living in Rania since 20 years. my fatheris a doctor and we have nursing home: S.K. Mohta Nursing Home. Jiwan nagar Road, Rania.

  • Hi, Rania is a historical place, was the part of bikaner state. in the memories of queens (Rani's) named Rania, They doing Sucide(Johar Varta). When the king return, he change the name of city in the memories of their beloved queen Bhattian to Rania. Now it is the big grain market espicially in Wheat,Basmati Rice and vegetables. percapita income and living standard is very high. pepoles are very nice espicially Punjabi Area.
