Also confusingly called Üniye Kalesi, this is a large ruined castle located at Güzelkale (earlier called Kaleköy, now the name of a village to the southwest). The medieval castle was the probable seat of the Turkish emirs of Khalybia, before they took over Oinaion (Üniye) sometime before 1445. The name Çaleoğlu Kale derives from that of an 18th-century derebey.
