Committee Rooms No.9 (Glasgow)

United Kingdom / Scotland / Glasgow / John Street, 18
 bar, night club

Although not obvious - it was in fact built as John Street Church, designed by a former draughtsman for David Hamilton who designed Hutcheson's Hall just to the south. Originally dating back to 1860, it was built for a congregation of the United Presbyterian Church of Scotland.

For the past few decades though, it has been used as a highly popular pub and nighclub complex that's had more facelifts and name changes than Prince.....since the mid 1990s it has been known as The John Street Jam, The Brewhouse, the Rat and Parrot, Merchant's Corner, Bar Sola and most recently the Committee Rooms.
