The Balagtas Radio Transmitting station of Department of Transportation and Communication / Philippines Coast Guard located at Barangay Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan is a HF shore-to-ship station, using shortwave radio frequencies, in a single-sideband modulation It is use for a long range communication and operated remotely by Mandaluyong DOTC PCG Control Station located in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila (see: wikimapia.org/#lat=14.5860391&lon=121.0329303&z=19&l=0... ). The Balagtas DOTC PCG Station is a former RCA (Radio Corporation of America) Transmitter Station.
