Saint Joseph's University, locally known as "SJU" or "St. Joe's," is a Catholic University located in both the Philadelphia city limits and Lower Merion Township (in Montgomery County). It was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1851.

Programs are offered in the College of Arts and Sciences as well as in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business.

Major routes serving the campus include US 1 (locally known as City Line Avenue) and US 30 (locally known as Lancaster Avenue).
