The Watergate Complex is a complex of apartments, office and a hotel, located in multiple buildings. It was the site of Democratic National Committee offices that were broken into by Republican operatives in the scandal that eventually led to Nixon's resignation. The buildings were built between 1962 and 1971 and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
