Boon Lay MRT Station [EW27] (Republic of Singapore)

Opened in 6 July 1990, Boon Lay MRT station was initially built for the purpose of serving residents of the Jurong West Extension, similar to Sengkang and Punggol MRT station,until when Business industries begin setting up in the Jurong West Extension.

There is an Xchange which is known as Boon Lay Xchange.

It is famous as the station is located just next to Jurong Point shopping centre, the largest shopping centre in Jurong.

The station is managed by SMRT and it's code is 'EW27'. A bus interchange that is manged by SBS Transit is just suited next to the station.

  • I used to take trains at that staion until a nearer station was built around there as well.
