The Abbey of Our Lady of the Nativity Cadouin is an ancient monastery founded in 1115 in Dordogne , in the territory of the village of Cadouin . This institution joined the Cistercian Order in 1119 . The abbey was consecrated in 1154 .

The former abbey Cadouin is classified a historical monument in 1840 .
It is listed in 1998 on the list of World Heritage by UNESCO and is on the pilgrim the road to St Jacques de Compostela(Spain), in France .
