This is a recreation of the home and lifestyle in which DPRK President Kim il Sung grew up. President Kim was not born here but this is the location where his grandparents lived and he chose to acknowledge this as his birthplace. Because of this distinction, it is annually visited by millions of DPRK citizens and foreign visitors.
