Sutjeska National Park is a national park located in the eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska entity, at the very border with Montenegro. It is the oldest National Park of Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of only three existing so far. Park is famous after Maglić mountain, the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, its primeval forest Perućica, one of the two existing in Europe, and second highest waterfall in Bosnia and Herzegovina called Skakavac, also National Park is famous as the site of the Partisan victory over the German occupying forces in a World War II battle and there exist several stone monuments commemorating the event. The park is about 175 square kilometers in size.
