Momin Kamen is a small village followed up to the north by the village of Dzep. The place was mainly built up from the workers on the railway and in the stone pit. The main site scenery of this small place is a river of South Morava rich in fish, nice hills above the river and a stone pit which was highly productive till '90-ies of the last century. Its name means ' girl's stone' ( 'moma' is an old Serbian term for a 'girl' ). The legend says that during the Turks rule in Serbia, some solders were passing by the river when there was a girl alone who was washing the clothes. They brutally killed her and after some time on the very top of the hill above that place, a big stone engraved with her shape of a head appeared.
