North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) is a historically black college/university and is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
NC A&T is one of the nation's leading producer of African-American engineers with both B.S. M.S. and PhD degrees.
The school colors are blue and gold. The school athletic teams are called the "Aggies" and the mascot is a bulldog. The school's marching band is known as The Blue & Gold Marching Machine.
