  Here there is an ongoing project. On May 9, 2004 starts the construction of an undersea rail tunnel, under the Bosphorus Strait, linking Europe ( Station Yenikapi Istanbul) and Asia (Istanbul Hydar Pasha Station) and also has a railway tunnel portion of land. The total length of the tunnel will be 1.8 kilometers, and is scheduled and rehabilitation of existing railways Hydar Pasa Istanbul-Gebze Station (6 km). The entire work will be ready on October 29, 2013.
