This is a homogeneous earth fill dam constructed in the year 1978 across Ardei in Baitarani Basin and located at Latitude 210-35’-00”N and Longitude 850-37’-00” E near village Sirisaipal in the district of Keonjhar. The length and height of the dam are 1112 m and 16.41 m respectively. Gross storage capacity at FRL is 1.48 M m3. Khariff ayacut is 809.20 ha. Catchment area is 25.60 km2. The spillway is ungated ogee type having a discharge capacity 222.64 m3/sec.
