Khair Inter College was established by Khair Saheb to educate the people in Basti, who were backward in after India got independence. He dedicated his whole life for establishing this school that once was one of the best in eastern UP. The teachers were very dedicated and they had the mission to educate the masses. It was a minority school but Hindus, Muslims and other communities respected each other. The founding principal was Maqbool Ahmad Siddiqui and My grand father. Asif Ali Siddiqui was the Vice principal. the school had some very dedicated teachers like Abbasi saheb, Asif Ali Siddiqui, Moti lal, Hammad Ali, Akbar Ali, Ramjatan etc who were role models for many.
This school was supported by the girls school and was a source of education for the muslims who live around the city.
I hope this schoold gets back its glory and citizens of Basti support this school. I humbly request to all the tenants of Khair Waqf property to give their best due to this great institution and do not rob her by occupying it illegally.
They are doing a disservice to the school and are impediments in the growth of this school. I wish I could do something for my almamater!!!

fully agreed to the views of Mr. Anser azim.Khair college has been instruemental in the scientific and educational development of Basti and nearby areas.it has prodeced number of high profile administrators,educationists,academician serving the masses of country.it was only due to the best companion and supporter alhaj khair saheb found.
May Allah bring the past glory of Khair college.

I have completed my highschool (9th & 10th) from Khair Inter College Basti in 1981.That was the golden time for me. I have been tuted by one of prestigious person Mr. TARA SHANKAR NASHAD (Ex principal Sakseria Inter College,Basti) in tere goal kothi in Maharikhawan.After 81 Icant visited again Basti,but Basti is still in my memory.

Abdal Saheb was the Principal on that time.My one poster (full skelton of frog)was fixed in Biology lab,may be still fix there.Our beloved teacher Hamad saab & Arshad saab was still in my memory.
