Renowned for its panoramic beauty, The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course in Alberta is a captivating and challenging layout set in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains.

Stanley Thompson, Canada's master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. The course winds alongside the Bow River under the majestic peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle.

In 1989, the course was complemented with the construction of an adjoining 9 holes, designed by Cornish and Robinson, resulting in the current total of 27 holes of championship golf. The course is now considered to be one of the ten best golf courses in the world.

The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course hosted the Telus World Skins Game in 2006 featuring Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, John Daly, Stephen Ames, & Sergio Garcia.
