Former Reynolds Metals Aluminum Plant. (Prior to Alcoa.) My father worked for Reynolds Metals for many years at this location. One day he came home with a bit of information for me. He had been talking with one of the electrical engineers. The engineer said, that at a certain point, the smelting "pots" would be running on only 4 volts... at 65,000 Amps.
