  • It might not be a ski resort any longer but it's still a Great place to go sledding and tubing in the Winter. Even though it looks like there is parking places there, it's we'll marked for No Parking because of the narrow one way road. Be forewarned, they drive-by often and you WILL get a ticket it you try to park at the base. Best to park a few blocks away down the hill and walk up. It Definitely Is A BLAST!!! • If you enter the top of the property off of fire road 2N08, you can still find the remains of the ski lift house and a line of ski lift tower foundations. The ski runs are all still there but you can tell how long ago the resort closed because the trees growing on them are all exactly the same age/height.
  • I used to ski here back in the late 80's. Half of a day there would wipe you out more than a full day at Summit or Bear because of all the skiing you did....no waiting. We'd build awesome jumps, obstacles, etc. There was a run there (I think it was called Mercury) that was arguably the steepest in Big Bear.
