The biggest Steiner (Waldorf) school in Sweden. 600 students in ages 7 to 19 divided in 24 classes.
Also got its own seminar for educating new Waldorf system teachers and a preschool and a lot of other things.
The school building was created in 1966 by Erik Asmussen, who also created several Swedish Waldorf Schools. The building has several features that characterize the anthroposophic style of its architecture, both in terms of shape and color scale. Around the school yard are several smaller pavilions with classrooms for the pre-school children. Kristofferskolan follow Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) Waldorf system and the school is included in the global list of Waldorf schools.
