Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum (New York City, New York)

Founded in 1982, The Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum is an educational and cultural not-for-profit institution dedicated to promoting the awareness and understanding of history, science and service through its collections, exhibitions and programming.

Centered around the Aircraft Carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11), the Ballistic Missile Submarine USS Growler (SSG-557), Concorde G-BOAD and as of 2012 the Space Shuttle Mockup Enterprise (OV-101), the museum offers hundreds of static and interactive exhibits for visitors year-round.

In addition to its museum capacities, the facility is also host to OSO Manhattan, a USMC recruiting station and serves as the hub for the annual Fleet Week events each summer.

The flightdeck of the museum was used as a filming location for S3E10 of "Royal Pains" for a book signing by a fictional Gen. William Collins. It was also used as a filming location for "Blindspot".
