Torsåker Church (Torsåker)

This church was completed in 1758. It replaced a medieval church that had stood on the site since the thirteenth century. There are two runestones outside the church that were placed here during the eleventh century, and constitute tourist attractions in their own right. The altarpiece and pulpit are both late seventeenth century, and were carved by master craftsman Mårten Jönsson.
