Carol Fox Park features lots of playground equipment for kids, as well as a sand volleyball court. The location was zoned as a park on July 21, 1982, and was called the "Senate Avenue Park".
It was renamed on March 3, 1992 as "Carol Fox Park" in remembrance of Carol Harper Fox, a Jersey Village city secretary who served from 1975 to 1991. On December 25, 1991, Carol Fox died from AIDS, which she had caught from a blood transfusion.
