  • The Sivan Temple located in this Village is known of removing obstacles and settle Marriage and also is powerful in re-uniting seperated couples. Thirugnanasambandar's "Sadayaye Yenum" Song was recited by him in this Temple.

  • I was studied From 2nd to 12th standard in Thirumarugal govt school. My house (rented) was in south madavilagam st (near sivan temple). I have got an opportunity to hear the speaches of Thirumuruga kripanandavariyar,Pulavar kiran,Balakrishna sastrigal and sweet voice of sirhazi govindarajan while in temple festival. Chettipen,chettipillai thirumanam is the famous festival in this temple.Near by village Thiruchengattangudi,thriukannapuram are also having very famous temple to see everybody. Presently i am working with Polaris Gp. chennai as a software engineer.

  • Thirumarugal, It's actually my Grandfather's house is there in Tirumarugal. For every annual leave we use to spend in that village only. My Grandfather's house is near to Govt Hr.Sec School, 1/116 north street. I like each & every place in that village. Vanduvarkozahli Sametha ratnagireshwarar Temple, Subramaniaswamy temple, Kulam, Fairdeal stores(one of our relative), Sandapettai, Sri krishna theatre, Thiruchengattangudi,thriukannapuram. I got more excited whenever i heared the name Tirumarugal in TV, News, or while discussing with friends. Now I am working as a S/W Developer in Mumbai.
